  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Cooked white rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add chopped turkey bacon alternative until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté onion in olive oil until translucent, then add garlic for another minute.
  3. Stir in smoked paprika and flour; gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Lower heat and mix in sour cream and Dijon mustard. Return the turkey bacon alternative to the pan.
  5. Add sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook on low until chicken is done (7-10 minutes).
  6. Serve hot over rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
